Mencap is on the lookout for passionate Support Workers (Drivers essential) to join our amazing team in Hemel Hempstead.

As a Support Worker, you’ll be supporting people with learning disabilities to live their best lives. You’ll work with a wonderfully diverse group of individuals, each with their own strengths, personalities, and goals.
Your day might include:
- Supporting with everyday activities
- Encouraging independence and confidence
- Offering emotional support and companionship
- Sharing laughs, achievements, and meaningful moments

- ✅ A full UK driving licence
No previous experience? No problem. Your values and personality matter most—we’ll train you!
🕒 Shifts & Working Pattern
All our services provide 24-hour care, but don’t worry—we plan rotas at least 4 weeks in advance, so you can still plan your social life!
- Day shifts: Between 07:00–22:00
- Sleep-ins: 22:00–07:00
- Enhanced flat rate of £64.20 per sleep-in
