    • Contributing to the development of consistent approaches to quality assurance and standardisation across employment services.

This is a role where your knowledge, curiosity and ability to support others will make a real difference. You will be helping teams to celebrate what is working well, understand where improvements are needed and take practical steps that lead to better outcomes for people with a learning disability.

We are looking for someone who:

    • Has experience of quality assurance, quality improvement or service improvement activity.
    • Understands supported employment principles and approaches that help people secure and sustain paid work.
    • Has a good understanding of the barriers people with a learning disability may face when seeking, gaining and maintaining employment.
    • Is confident coaching, mentoring and facilitating learning with colleagues.
    • Communicates clearly and can build positive working relationships with a range of stakeholders.
    • Can work independently, manage competing priorities and collaborate across geographically dispersed teams.
    • Shares Mencap’s values and is committed to safeguarding and improving outcomes for people with a learning disability.

If you are passionate about quality, inclusion and making supported employment the best it can be, we would love to hear from you.

Please apply by uploading your up-to-date work history. You will have an opportunity to add a covering statement in your application that explains why you are interested in the role and how your skills, knowledge and experience meet the person specification.

Mencap is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults, and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
