Mencap is looking for passionate Female Relief Support Workers to join our welcoming team in Worksop.

🚗 Please note: A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. Unfortunately, applications from candidates who do not hold a full UK driving licence will not be progressed.

As a Relief Support Worker, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of people with learning disabilities. You’ll support a diverse group of individuals, each with their own personalities, strengths, and support needs.

From helping with everyday activities to providing emotional support and encouragement, you’ll play a vital and rewarding role in supporting people to live fulfilling lives.

✅ What we’re looking for

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• A genuine passion for supporting others
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive, meaningful relationships
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays
• A positive, empathetic, and person-centred attitude
• A full UK driving licence (essential)

🕒 Shift information

All our services provide 24-hour care.
Rotas are prepared at least 4 weeks in advance, giving you the flexibility to plan your personal and social life around work.

📋 Additional information

• An enhanced DBS check will be required for the successful candidate
• Right to work in the UK:
  Please note, this role does not meet the minimum salary threshold for a Health and Care visa under the UK Skilled Worker route. Although Mencap is a licensed sponsor, we cannot offer sponsorship for this position. Applicants must already have the legal right to work in the UK.
