Learning Disability Caseworker – Health Enquiries 

What you’ll do

You’ll manage complex health-related enquiries in person, on the telephone and by email/Teams.
You will provide clear and accurate end-to-end advice, and challenge organisations such as hospitals, ICBs and other health authorities where needed. 

You’ll also: 

• Support people through sensitive, high-risk and complex casework 

• Apply safeguarding knowledge across adult and children’s cases 

• Keep accurate case records and meet service quality standards 

• Gather case studies and insight to support wider organisational change 

• Share expertise with colleagues through guidance, training and support 

• Contribute to analysis, learning and continuous improvement 

What we’re looking for 

You’ll bring: 

• A strong commitment to improving the lives of people with a learning disability 

• Experience delivering advice to under-represented groups 

• Confidence handling complex cases and safeguarding concerns 

• Emotional resilience, empathy and sound judgement 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Good understanding of confidentiality, data protection and accurate record keeping 

• Confidence using CRM systems, Microsoft Teams and digital casework tools

These are temporary full time, 37.5 hours per week roles and are home-based, with occasional travel.
