  • Are you caring, reliable and looking for a role where you can genuinely make a difference every day? Mencap are looking for Support Workers to join our friendly team in Market Rasen, supporting six wonderful individuals to live happy, independent and fulfilling lives.

    In this rewarding role you will support three people in a supported living service and three individuals in the local community. The people we support enjoy getting out and about as well as spending quality time at home. They love going out for meals, stopping for tea and cake, visiting garden centres and having a good shopping trip. At home they enjoy relaxing with movie nights, getting creative with arts and crafts, cooking together and spending time on hobbies such as knitting. Your role will be to help make these moments possible while encouraging independence.

    As a Support Worker you will provide person-centred support tailored to each individual. This may include supporting people with medication, helping with everyday household tasks, providing emotional reassurance, supporting decision making and assisting with finances, attending appointments, and helping with meal planning and preparation. Most importantly, you will be someone who builds positive relationships and helps people feel confident, valued and supported in their day-to-day lives.

    We have full-time, part-time and relief contracts available. Our service operates across a range of shift patterns, so we are looking for someone who is flexible and able to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins on a rota basis.

    You do not need previous experience to apply. What matters most is that you are kind, patient, dependable and genuinely passionate about supporting people to live the life they choose.
