Community Connex support people with a learning disability, autistic people, those experiencing disadvantages, and their families to help them live healthier, happier and inclusive lives. What You'll Do
> Prepare simple hot and cold meals (e.g., soups, pasta dishes, jacket potatoes, stews).
> Set up the dining area so it feels welcoming and accessible to all.
> Follow basic food hygiene and safety guidance (training provided).
> Work alongside staff and volunteers to create a friendly, inclusive atmosphere.
> Tidy up at the end of the session with support from other volunteers.

As a volunteer, you will need to be:
• Someone who enjoys preparing food and sharing it with others.
• Friendly, reliable and happy to support a community focused early evening session.
• Comfortable volunteering once a week or occasionally - we're flexible.
• No professional cooking experience required, just enthusiasm and kindness.
