We are currently looking for a passionate Service Manager to join our team in March on a temporary (6 month) basis. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys leading teams, making a difference, and ensuring that people receive the highest quality support.
As a Service Manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and developing a dedicated team of Support Workers. You will ensure that the services deliver high-quality, person-centred support in line with Mencap’s values and CQC standards. Your role will involve managing day-to-day operations such as rotas, budgets and compliance, while maintaining strong relationships with the people we support, their families, and external professionals. Above all, you will create a positive, empowering environment where people are supported to live the lives they choose with independence and joy.
We’re looking for someone who is caring, organised, and confident working in a people-focused setting. Experience in social care or management is desirable, as you will need to have an understanding of what great quality care looks like.
Your working week is flexible over the 7 days week and may include working weekends, you will also need to have a full driving licence to be successful in this role due to the needs of the people we support.
