This role is not just about teaching — it’s about preparing young people for independence, confidence, and future success.

What we’re looking for (essential skills and experience):

    • Experience of supporting SEND people in a learning environment.
    • A background in teaching or training, ideally with SEN learners.
    • Experience of delivering against targets and working with diverse groups.
    • Good classroom management, planning, and time management skills.
    • A-C / 9–4 in English & Maths GCSE (or equivalent).
    • Minimum Level 3 Award in Education (or equivalent) and willingness to work towards Level 5 (DTLLS, PGCE, CertEd).
    • Knowledge of safe working practices.
    • Experience of delivering and assessing Functional Skills English and Maths up to Level 2.
