If you are kind, patient, and creative person who wants to make a difference to a person with a learning disability, read on!
We support a wonderful lady who would love someone to visit just six times a year for some relaxed activities in the home. She enjoys craft activities of all sorts, listening to music, watching films, and enjoying the company of friends.
She is non-verbal, so a volunteer who is confident in their communication skills would be suitable. Experience with learning disabilities would help but is not essential.
Visits would be in the home and would likely be between 1-1.5 hours.
Your travel expenses will be reimbursed, and there is a budget for Christmas and Birthday gifts, as well as anything you bring round for the visits.
