We have an exciting opportunity for a 30-hour Area Operations Manager (AOM) for our Employment and Personal Development (EPD) Team, this is a fixed term post until March 2026 with possible extension pending funding.

As the AOM you will be overseeing all our employment services in Northern Ireland.  You will be responsible for the success and development of our teams, funding contracts and stakeholder partnerships.

The AOM will lead the EPD Service Mangers to ensure our services are delivered to a high standard, are safe and are aligned with the Mencap values.

Through effective leadership and judgment, the AOM post will set key priorities and actions that align with the overarching Mencap strategy.  The AOM will be responsible for systems and measurement tools to ensure quality review of key priority areas to achieve maximum results.

We are looking for someone that is full of enthusiasm, drive and the ability to influence people at all levels of the business. You will also require people management experience, knowledge of a range of adult social care services and have knowledge of the current Northern Ireland supported employment funding streams.
