Temporary Assistant Service Manager – Secondment opportunity for 37.5 hours per week for 3 months
We are looking for an Assistant Service Manager to join our person-centered services in Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill where we support people with learning disabilities and complex needs. This is a temporary role for 3 months.
You will support the Service Manager to ensure the continued smooth operation of the supported living services by undertaking a range of management tasks to support the team, and the people living there.

The role will involve undertaking agreed management tasks:
- Recruitment and induction of new staff
- Working alongside the team, supporting them to develop and to be compliant with their training and practice
- Leading on the review and implementation of support planning, risk assessment and outcome-based support using our What Matters Most app.
- Ensuring the service meets key performance indicators and quality standards.
- Contributing to and overseeing systems and records that support health and safety and maintenance of service environment as required.
- Contributing to the monitoring and completion of management reporting systems.
- Contributing to monitoring and completion of administration systems such as reviewing time sheets and in putting information into payroll and invoice systems
