As a Relief Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding support to individuals with a learning disability. Flexibility is key for this role, as you may be required to work a variety of different shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, sleep ins and waking nights. You will have the ability to work flexibly across the weekdays, weekends and bank holidays, depending on your availability and the hours being offered to you.

As a Relief Support Worker, you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated, and happy life. You will help individuals with personal care, such as getting ready for the day and assisting with bathing, showering, and using the bathroom. You will also support them in living independently, including budget management, paying bills, housework, organising appointments, and cooking delicious healthy meals. Additionally, you will use your excellent communication skills to promote positive relationships and support the individual to understand the world around them. You will also support them in accessing and participating in their local community and social events to promote life skills and individuality.
