Job Advert

We are recruiting for full time and part time support workers for our registered service in Winterton, Norfolk.  The roles are for various hours per week, full time, or part time. You will be required to work a variety of shifts on a rota basis, which includes weekends and bank holidays. The shifts vary from early to late (usually ranging from 7am to 10pm) and include sleep ins (sleep ins are when you stay the night at the service and sleep in the staff room). This service also has waking night staff. You may be asked if you can cover shifts in other services as well.

About the Service

There are currently eight adults with learning disabilities living here, and you will be supporting them in their daily lives to live as independently as they can and to achieve their goals!

This service is right next door to another of our services, and the people who live here are slightly more independent. There are a range of different activities offered to suit everyone - swimming, gardening, going out to clubs, socialising, eating out with friends, listening to music, and enjoying different sensory activities. Trips out are also popular - visiting sights, museums, and going to the theatre.  Trips that have been booked include Madam Tussauds, the London Eye, the Harry Potter tour at Warner Bros in London, and the Christmas pantomime!  In addition, one of the people who lives here loves gaming on his PlayStation.

Location - Winterton is a wonderful village located along the stunning Norfolk coast, offering many beautiful walks. Perhaps you will join one of the people we support for a walk along one of Norfolk’s finest beaches and then a hot drink at one of the local cafés? We are also not far from Great Yarmouth which hosts many attractions such as The Pleasure Beach, Sea Life Centre, and amazing beaches!

Does it sound like you are the person we are looking for? If YES - Apply now!
