We are looking to recruit someone to join this well-established confident team based at our Service in Hatfield, Doncaster on a permanent, part time contract of various hours available.
There are a mixture of shifts between 7am and 9pm. There are seven sleep in shifts where you stay overnight and are paid at a premium if you undertake one such shift. There will also be a requirement to help out with nights in cases of emergency or holidays but this will be shared with the other staff available.
Applicants must hold a current, clean driving licence as the people we support have their own mobility vehicles.

What does a Support Worker do?
As a Support Worker you will be expected to provide an outstanding level of support that will enormously contribute to the people we support, living a more comfortable, dignified, liberated and happy life.
- Personal care - helping people to get ready for the day and assisting with bathing, showering and using the bathroom.
- Moving and handling - we have a wheelchair user who will need a level of people moving skill, training will be give.
- Supporting people to live independently – budget management, paying bills, house work, organising appointments and cooking delicious healthy meals.
- Excellent communication skills/relationship building – supporting the person to understand the world around them and promoting positive relationships.
- Community & Social Inclusion- Supporting individuals to access and participate in their local community and Social events to promote life skills and individuality.
