He is in his 50's and lives in a care home in Barnet.
He likes writing stories and has a special gift of being able to tell you the day of any date you give him. He would like someone to accompany him to McDonalds for lunch, once you know each other better.
You will spend time getting to know him and joining in with his favourite activities.

You will be introduced and get to know him with the support of Mencap staff.

Mencap are strongly encouraging all our colleagues to have the Covid-19 vaccine as a way to help protect each other and the people we support. This is especially important in direct support roles as evidence is starting to grow that the vaccine could help stop the spread of the virus, as well as protecting the person vaccinated from getting very ill.
In addition, it is mandatory that you take a lateral flow test on the day of your volunteering.
