Job Advert
Thanks to the ongoing success of the current service, we are looking to expand our team of dedicated Relief Support Workers in Chippenham and Corsham. Our North Wilts services are made up of Supported Living services that currently supports twenty-seven individuals – under the ‘additional information’ tab at the bottom of this advert, you will see two One Page Profiles from our service.

As a support worker at the service, you’ll be supporting the people we support with general household tasks – these include offering support with preparing tasty meals, keeping the house clean and tidy and supporting A.L-S with reading and responding to their mail.

You will also support the people within the service with their favourite hobbies. These hobbies may include having a boogie with L.S (One Direction is the band of choice) or watching Formula 1 with A.L-S – do you know your hairpin from your chicane?

All shifts will be on a rota basis with shifts spread across weekdays, weekends and bank holidays. Shifts will include mornings, afternoons and evenings which may include sleeping in (Payment for sleep ins is competitive and compliant with National Living Wage requirements). The benefit of being a Relief Support Worker is that you can choose the shifts that suit you, however a good degree of flexibility is important as all our shifts will be spread across the weekdays and weekends.

We are looking for someone who really wants to make a difference and enable the people we support to enjoy the things they want to do. To be a support worker, all you’ll need to have is a positive attitude and a desire to improve the lives of those with a learning disability. If you support the people within the service, we will support you with award winning training and progression opportunities throughout your career with us.

If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

As well as knowing that what we do is making a positive difference to people’s lives, you will receive fair pay and have access to a wide range of rewards and benefits as one of our employees.
