Mencap are currently recruiting support staff to join our St Austell team.

You will be supporting adults with a learning disability to live independently in their own homes and in the community.

The work will involve offering daily support to adults with a learning disability, which can include support with shopping, budgeting, decision-making, inclusion in the community and support with general day-to-day activities.

The majority of the people we support love going out on day trips, either to some of their favourite places or you can offer your input on new and exciting places to see.

This role will suit an outgoing person who is committed to supporting and encouraging people to achieve their best. You should be motivated to look for opportunities and ways of working with people, which can give new experiences and introduce them to new things.

A full, clean driving license is preferable for this role.
