A truly fantastic and highly rewarding opportunity has arisen for a relief “Me Time” Facilitator to join our hardworking and passionate team in Nottingham on a relief based contact.

Like anybody else, the people we support love to socialise and enjoy recreational activities together. At our service in Nottingham, we support people to do the activities they want to do like arts & crafts, gardening, drama, sports, cooking & baking and ICT skills. These groups give everyone the opportunity to learn and develop new skills, make and maintain friendships and be part of a fantastic community.

We are looking for someone to help us cover annual leave and staff absence. You will be helping reduce social isolation, supporting people with a learning disability to address their needs, increasing their independence and confidence and enabling people to reach their local community and do the things they love.

You will need the ability to work on your own initiative and will be able to develop our local services through proactive approaches. Good interpersonal, problem solving and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with clients, employers, and other professionals is essential. The ability to maintain accurate and up to date records using IT based systems is required.

This is a fantastic opportunity to positively help people with a learning disability and challenge attitudes towards learning disability as a whole.
