We are recruiting Support Workers to join our established team in Winterton on Sea at a supported living service. 

We currently have 2 x 20 hour Wake Night Support Worker roles available. The shifts are: 22:00-07:00. 

At our Winterton service, we support eight people who all have a learning disability. They all like to get out into the community and four out of the eight have less mobility so they require hoisting and they use wheelchairs.

This role will also involve providing support for the eight individuals during the night. Duties will include supporting with settling the individuals into their bedtime routine, delivering all levels of personal care, ensuring they are comfortable during the night and checking on their general well-being, possibly administering medication during the night (full training is provided), updating admin/paper work and carrying out house hold duties such as laundry cleaning and ironing throughout the night.

We are looking for someone who is passionate and committed to making a difference to the people with learning disability. This is a challenging role however, it is also tremendously rewarding too!

In addition to this, you will be supported with our ongoing award-winning training to enhance your career. All of the Mencap training is fully paid for, the time you attend is also paid for and any travel costs to attend training will be reimbursed.
