About Mencap

Mencap is the leading voice of learning disability. We want to see a world where people with a learning disability are valued equally, listened to and included.

We are determined to achieve this by changing attitudes, providing services and influencing those who can help us change the lives of people with a learning disability.

Volunteering with Mencap is YOUR opportunity to help us achieve this, whilst having the chance to develop your skills, meet new people and join a passionate and dedicated team.

Job Advert

We are looking for some 4 legged volunteers who would like to visit the people we support

There are some green spaces close by and the people we support would like to help walk the dog to this space and throw a ball, and have some fun.

You would need to be happy to share the walking and handling of your dog with the people we support where appropriate.

A calm, well behaved, obedient dog and owner will be needed for this role
