Calling all Super Carers! We are looking for real Care Heroes to join our dedicated team of Relief Support workers. Come and make a difference to someone's life. 
We are searching for keen, caring and compassionate individuals to join our team of Relief Support Workers.We have vacancies in our South Devon Support Living Services; located in Totnes, Buckfastleigh and Newton Abbot.
As a Relief Support Worker your role will focus on helping the people we support to progress – from domestic (including personal care), leisure and social activities, to full-time employment. Through these activities, the people we support learn to become more independent, lead fuller lives, and learn the skills needed to aim for paid work. This is a Relief post, which allows you to work hours that best suit you.
To be successful in this role, you will have a positive approach to all activities, the ability to motivate the people we support and great time management skills. We are looking for people who are committed, dependable and personable, with a great work ethic!
Shifts are rota based and will be spread across morning, afternoons and evenings, waking nights and sleep in shifts will also be available. Flexibility is essential as all our shifts will be spread across the weekdays and weekends. We are really looking for individuals who are patient and adaptable, with a real "Can-do" attitude.
Being a support worker isn’t just about making the day to day life easier, it’s about improving the lives of these lovely individuals, so they can live the life that they choose and certainly deserve. Helping the people we support achieve their goals is one of the most rewarding parts of being a support worker and we will support you with award winning training throughout your career with us.
*An enhanced DBS will be required for the successful candidate (Paid by Mencap)
* Drivers are required for this role. You do not need to have access to your own vehicle as you will drive the people we support in their cars
