After successfully expanding our repairs service within the South of England, we are looking for a Repairs Team Leader to manage and support a number of highly skilled multi skilled operatives, ensuring that a high quality service is delivered to our tenants.
We are looking for someone that preferably would have a trade background and experience in repairs and maintenance field. This role will require supervisory skills and have the confidence to deal with repair issues. The candidate will have some experience within a similar role and have previously demonstrated the ability to lead a team of repair specialists. The role will also include being hands on, so is a perfect opportunity for someone who loves the physical side but wants to progress or develop as a Leader.
The ideal applicant will have an enthusiastic attitude, a can do approach, and will share the same vision, values and aspiration to strive for more and will ensure our first-time-fix promise to our customers is met. It is imperative that the Team Leader possesses the ability to manage performance, organise works, and communicate effectively with all customers, stakeholders and departments.
The role is covering areas in the South East and South West of England on a 37.5-hour week basis, with the need to cover outside working h ours on occasions. Therefore, it is essential to hold a full UK driving licence in order to drive to our properties and support the operatives in the field. Ideally, you will have had previous repairs experience and possess a NVQ 2 or NVQ 3 or equivalent in this field. Whilst we recognise that formal training is important, this role is more about recognising the importance of our service and working with our staff, customers and support teams to get the right solutions first time.
