We are looking for a caring and positive female to join our fantastic team of Support Workers for our supported living service in Dunswell, Hull. We have permanent posts for 20 hours per week where you will be supporting three adults with a learning disability.
 

The individuals we support enjoy accessing their community especially if it involves having a nice cup of coffee. It is important to have an honest and trusting relationship with the people you support. Your support is important as it will enable them to live a fulfilling life and also help them to achieve the things that are important to them and being able to live independently. We aim to include the people we support in the recruitment process through person centred practice, ensuring the people we are supporting are at the centre of everything we do. 

You will provide support in leisure activities, cleaning, cooking and helping with personal care if required. You will help the people we support to lead the life they choose as we focus on person centred support, tailored to individuals needs.

Flexibility is important as shifts are throughout the day and evening, nights they may be spread across the week/weekends and includes bank holidays. As all our shifts are on a rota basis you will know at least a month ahead what shifts you have been allocated for allowing you to plan your time accordingly.

Driving is essential for this post.
